Our vision is simple: a community where everyone feels they belong and are the best they can be.
We are the largest school in Colchester serving a community of 11-18 year old students. Our school was described as having a “warm family feel” in our Ofsted inspection in September 2023.
We have served the community of Colchester for nearly 60 years and are proud of our heritage, our place in the City of Colchester and the future leaders and citizens we are developing.
Our 16-18 provision is “Sigma Sixth Colchester” which through our STEM, Global and Sports Academies provides a wide range of A Levels and a BTEC Level 3 Sport offer.
Our values are: ‘Aspiration, Success, Kindness’ which underpin our approach to all aspects of school life. We regularly celebrate these values being demonstrated by our students and our staff.
