Annual Consultation on The Sigma Trust's Admission Arrangements 2027/28 - Outcome

On behalf of The Sigma Trust, please be advised that, following the public consultation carried out between 20 December 2025 and 31 January 2026 on the 2027/28 admissions policies for the academies within The Sigma Trust listed below, the admission arrangements have been formally agreed (determined) by the Trustees and the Local Authority has been informed:

                       Clacton County High School
                       Paxman Academy
                       Sigma Sixth Colchester (Philip Morant School & College)
                       Sigma Sixth Tendring (Clacton County High School)

Trustees have determined:

  • a reduction in the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 336 to 308 pupils at Clacton County High School
  • a reduction in the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 180 to 168 pupils at Paxman Academy
  • Sigma Sixth Tendring’s admission arrangements
  • Sigma Sixth Colchester’s admission arrangements

The 2027/2028 admission arrangements for the Trust’s academies not requiring consultation (listed below) have also been formally determined by the Trustees:

Harwich & Dovercourt High School               St Helena School
Holland Park Primary School                         The Stanway School
Monkwick Infant & Nursery School               Thomas Lord Audley School


Deadline for objections

Any objections to these arrangements must be made to the Schools Adjudicator by 15 May 2026. Objections can be made by completing the school admission arrangements objection form, available from https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/objection-to-school-admission-arrangements].
