A Colchester primary school is celebrating after receiving a glowing Ofsted report.
Monkwick Junior School has been praised for providing a positive and inclusive environment which saw the school achieve a Good rating.

“They meet leaders’ high expectations and learn what they need throughout the curriculum to ensure they are well prepared for the next stage of their education.”
The school’s bespoke ‘advantage curriculum’, which provides pupils with opportunities to develop understanding of different faiths and values, was also praised along with the school’s “strong safeguarding culture”.
The report added: “Pupils talk proudly about their school values, including everyone being part of one team where everyone looks out for each other.
