Meet the Team

Carol was a solicitor for 12 years before going into teaching. She taught for 9 years in a range of primary schools in North Essex and went on to become a primary strategy consultant with Essex County Council.

In 2008, Carol was appointed Headteacher of a 4-form entry infant and nursery school and retired in 2014. Maintaining her interest in early literacy, she gained an MA in Children’s Literature from Goldsmiths in 2016.
