Meet the Team

Fiona has dedicated over 20 years to education, with more than a decade of that time spent as a Headteacher. Since joining The Sigma Trust in 2018, she has been a school leader, first as the Headteacher of St Helena School and then as the Executive Head of Paxman Academy from 2022.

Fiona holds an NPQEL and a Master's in School Improvement from Reading University. This academic background, combined with extensive practical experience, has given her a deep understanding of what it takes to drive positive change in schools. As CEO, Fiona is committed to using this expertise to empower leaders, inspire teachers, and ensure every student within the trust has the opportunity to succeed. Her leadership is defined by a passion for continuous improvement and a belief in the power of a collaborative school community.
