On Monday, 2nd December ten Year 9 students from The Stanway School took part in this year’s North Essex Mathematic Olympian (NEMO). There were 17 teams altogether with Stanway entering 3 teams. All the students worked extremely hard in three very demanding rounds. Stanway were the winners last year and managed to hold on to win again this year. Congratulations to Becky, Sarah, Peter, George, Adam and Yasmin who, in their teams, finished 12th & 14th. This was a wonderful achievement considering they were short on numbers due to last minute unavailability. Congratulations also to our winning team of Tabi, Keira, Teigan and Ozzy. Well done!
