Clacton students on cloud nine after being ball girls at Netball Super League showdown
Clacton County High School’s year seven netball team were left on cloud nine after appearing as ball girls at the recent Netball Super League game between Loughborough Lightning and Benecos Mavericks, at the University of Essex.
The Clacton County High School youngsters were guests of the Hertfordshire-based Mavericks, after being invited to represent Netball East Region by Essex development officer Louise Davey.
They had their names announced as they paraded onto the court with the teams, before helping the game flow by retrieving any balls that went out of play.
