NETT offer training for 3-7 (pathway 1) or 5-11 (pathway 2) and can also offer placements in special schools.

NETT is a centre for core SCITT, School Direct Salaried and School Direct Training programmes. These training programmes lead to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). For non-salaried trainees, the PGCE qualification is also awarded on completion. Salaried trainees can also access the PGCE if desired.

An 11-16 PGCE programme, with post-16 enhancement, is offered in most secondary school subjects. The NETT training schools are mostly 11-18 mixed comprehensives and we can offer training in ‘A’ level teaching as well as Key Stages 3 and 4 and also offer placements in special schools.

All secondary trainees completing the course as Grade 1 – ‘Outstanding’ and who have also completed one of our many Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses, will be offered a pay incentive if they are employed in partner schools. This means that you could potentially start higher on the pay scale.
